Grove Die Casting’s Tom Paap
retiring after 27 years.
Thank you Tom!
Companies are built on people. It is the collective work of many that define the legacy of a brand, in growth you gain individuals who contribute extra to that legacy. These people contributions become staples; their impact simultaneously embodies the brand whilst defining it. For the past 27 years, Tom Paap was one of these individuals for Grove Die Casting. The quality he held himself to has defined the standards of Grove Die Castings.
Tom Paap join GDC in 1997, after working in die casting for that past 13 year he was asked to come down and help run the aluminum die casting facilities in, Union Grove, Wi. In 2015 Dumore Motors acquired Grove Die Casting, leadership fell on Tom’s shoulders as he assumed the role of Production Manager. In hie new role he became a teacher, further helping define and elevate the standards of Grove Die in this new era.
The capabilities of Grove Die grew under Tom’s leadership and new ownership. Finding its niche in low to medium level EAQs it became an integral part of Dumore. Magento Movement acquired Dumore Motors, along with Grove Die Casting, in November of 2023. Tom Paap still at the helm helping integrate Grove Die’s capabilities again into their new role at Magneto Movement.
Tom Paap is now retiring after 27 years. He is leaving behind Matt Williams as the new Production Manager. Grove Die Casting is in good hands and continues to grow from the foundation Tom helped lay.
